Hello, I'm Claudia. I'm originally from Germany, but have settled in Pensacola, Florida with my husband of over 20 years and two teenage sons. I've been sewing since 1998, quilting, weaving, and crocheting for over 20 years. I enjoy creating unique, timeless treasures that add warmth and joy to a home.

I only use quality fabrics and threads. My go-to brands are Bonnie & Camille, Moda, Riley Blake, Studioe, Cotton & Steele, and others. I prefer to use Superior, and Aurifil thread for all my projects due to their exceptional quality. All of my quilts are created using a professional Longarm Quilter.

Let me help you finish your beautiful handmade quilt top, table runners, or other project! Your quilt will be finished on a professional computerized HandiQuilter longarm machine.
Pricing
We use our computerized HQ Handi Quilter Amara longarm machine to beautifully quilt your top.
We provide a full quilting service, edge-to-edge quilting.
Pricing starts at $0.022 square inch unless otherwise noted on the pattern.
There is a minimum charge of $50.00 for edge-to-edge quilting.
Add-on Charges:
If your quilt requires additional preparation upon its arrival, the following charges will apply. If not previously arranged I will contact you via phone or email for approval before any work is done.
Squaring backing: $15.00
Pressing: $15.00
Piecing backing: $15.00 per seam
Batting (if needed, up to Queen).
Warm Company Warm & Natural: $12/yd.
Quilt drop-off/pick-up by appointment only
How to Prepare Your Quilt Top
Helpful Quilt Preparation Tips:
- Mark the top edge (direction) of quilt with a pin or "Top" note.
- Trim all loose threads from the back. Loose threads may show through the top or back.
- Be sure all seams are secure. Check to make sure none of your seams are coming loose.
- If you have a pieced border, for best results, "stay stitch" 1/4" around the edge of your quilt top. This helps keep the seams from separating while being quilted.
- Square up the backing fabric.
- Measure your side borders as well as the middle of the length of your top. Your measurements should be the same.
- Measure the top and bottom and across the middle width wise. These three measurements should be the same. If not, there is a possibility that there will be puckers or tucks in your quilt.
- Size your backing and batting a minimum of 6-8" larger than your quilt top on all four sides.
- Be aware that fullness and puckers, which have been pieced in, cannot be quilted out.
- Quilt must be clean and free of any odor or animal hair, to prevent transfer to others quilts.
- Do not baste quilt. Bring or send layers separately.
- Avoid handling your quilt by the borders once they have been attached. This can stretch the borders and cause them to become loose and wavy.
- Avoid using bed sheets as your backing for your quilt.
